"Style as Material Memory in Early Iron Age North Syria"

Like the four venues ritual behaviors, narratives, objects and representations, and places, artistic stylistic traits can also contribute to social memory making. Several such examples are evident in North Syrian motifs of the first millennium BCE which present direct cultural links to the former Hittite empire.
